Adrián Sánchez
Born in Ponferrada (León, Spain), Adrián began his studies of classical and modern dance, at the age of 11 in his hometown, where he was later part of the young Inquedanza Company until 2016. Later, he moved to Valladolid, where he studied at the Professional School of Castilla y León. There he trained with teachers such as Liu Balocchi, Jon Lopez Garnika, Hervé Ilary, Juan Eymar, Oscar Torrado, Marta Rodríguez Coca and Juan Carlos Santamaría. In 2015 he entered the María de Ávila Superior Dance Conservatory in the Choreography and Interpretation itinerary where he took classes with such teachers as Eva López Crevillén, Ana Catalina Román, and Lienz Chang among others.
To this day, he has danced pieces by Nacho Duato, Tony Fabre, William Forsythe, Juan Carlos Santamaria, Víctor Ullate, Hervé Ilary, Juan Eymar, Kor'sia, George Balanchine and Richard Lowe. Currently he combines his higher education in dance, while working as a dancer for the Dance Company of the Landestheater Detmold, under the direction of Richard Lowe.
