Anna Romanova

Born in Novosibirsk, Siberia. Grew up in Moscow, studied dance at the Novosibirsk ballet academy and finished at the Moscow college of Arts. At the age of 19 finished the Rudra Bejart school in Lausanne, Switzerland. Joined Ballet Kiel in 2011 for four seasons, after that TanzCompany Innsbruck for three seasons and in 2018 up until present joined Opera de Lyon. Amongst others performed the roles of Gretchen in Faust, Marquise de Merteuil in Dangerous Liaisons, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth. Danced pieces of P. Bausch, W. Forsythe, J. Kilian, O. Naharin, G. Reischl, K. Walters, N. Horecna. L. Childs, M. Cunningham, A. Sciarroni, P. Pontvianne, amognst others.
