Born in Girona, Anna Roura began to dance at 5 years old and it has since been her passion. Her training as a dancer began with the English method R.A.D where she graduated from Girona. At the same time, she studied at the Conservatory of Madrid and then graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt. She has danced Swan Lake at the State Theatres of Wiesbaden, Magdeburg and Dortmund. Other productions have led her to perform in Frankfurt, Bremerhaven, Görlitz, Leipzig, Eisenach, Düsseldorf, Cologne and Essen. The most outstanding works in which she has participated include: Carmen, The Rose Cavalier, Paladiner, Faust, The Merry Widow and the renowned Artifact of W. Forsythe in Frankfurt and on tour in London. Later she danced in musicals like The Phantom of the Opera and, without ever leaving her pointe shoes, she is a member of the Petits Fours Show with her own program of Burlesque since 2010.
