Antonio Izquierdo

Antonio began dancing funk hip-hop, obtaining several national and international prizes. He continued to study musical theater at Coco Comin and obtained the Professional Degree of Contemporary Dance with the Institut del Teatre, Barcelona. He has danced in the Disney film Cheetah Girls 2, When in Spain choreographed by Maite Marcos, and in the film Les derniers jours du monde, choreographed by Roberto Olivan. He has worked in various dance companies such as Lanòmima Imperial, Plan B, Tanz Atelier in Vienna, Pepe Hevia Danza, Cia. Proyecto Experimental, Cia. Estampades, Orianthèatre Company in Paris and "Think Big" in Hannover co-produced by the Hannover Opera. In collaboration with Mei Arnella, the piece Artespai won the first prize of scenic arts of the festival Inund'Art 2011, Girona. He won a prize for the best performances with the dance company Orianthèatre de Paris in the Puf 2013 festival in Croatia. He is a dancer and choreographer of several pieces: San San Kudo, Nadie quiere mirarnos a los ojos, Hi ets? Ara, And19, premieres at the Nun Off 2011 festivals, La Torna del Grec in Barcelona and the Seismograph 2012 in Olot. He has given classes at the Municipal School of Dance of Celrà, the LaBlue school, the Loida Grau school and the escola Nou Espiral.
