Carlos Romero
Born in 1993, Carlos began dancing at the dance school of Gema Ruiz (Barcelona) at age 14. In 2009 he entered the Conservatorio Institut del Teatre (Barcelona). He continued his training in 2011 at the Royal Conservatory of Dance Mariemma (Madrid), where he graduated in 2014. In 2011, he entered as a dancer in the ensemble of Antonio Canales, with his show "Entre telons". In 2014, representing the RCPD Mariemma, Carlos won the Spanish Dance prize at the XVIII National Dance Festival City of Castelló and was awarded scholarships for different companies, among them, the National Ballet of Spain. Between 2014 and 2015 he worked as a solo dancer at Ballet Teatre Rafael Aguilar and Compañía Aída Gómez. In 2015, he entered the National Ballet of Spain under the direction of Antonio Najarro as an ensemble member. Later, in 2016, he collaborated in the work Lisistrata, by José Carlos Plaza, next to Estrella Morente, Aída Gómez and Antonio Canales. He is currently a solo dancer of the National Ballet of Spain under the direction of Antonio Najarro.
