Gabriela Mesa

Gabriela Mesa graduated from the prestigious National Ballet School of Cuba in 2011, being awarded top 12 best contestants in the finals of the YAGP in New York that same year. Immediately afterwards, she became part of the National Ballet of Cuba under the direction of Alícia Alonso. She was promoted to soloist dancer in 2015. Later in 2016 she was a founding member of the Dimensions Dance Theater in Miami and in 2019 joined the Philadelphia Ballet under the direction of Angel Corella, where she is now a semi-soloist.
