Marc Balló

Marc’s first dance steps were in Girona, where he competed in a sports dance. In Barcelona, ​​he began his classical dance training and soon moved to Madrid to study at the Carmen Amaya Professional Dance Conservatory. In 2013 he received his first professional contract in Riga, Latvia, to dance in the Borderless project, under the direction of Indra Reinhold. Later, he collaborated with the company of Madrid CaraBdanza, directed by Gonzalo Díaz. That same year, he moved to Palma de Mallorca, where he danced in two projects: the Don Quixote ballet, directed by Gavin de Paor and Laura Macías and the contemporary ballet Alice in the Wonderland, directed by Mª Antonia Mas, both represented productions at the Teatre Principal in Palma. At the end of 2014, he moved to Germany, where he still works today. He has been a guest dancer at Staatstheater Magdeburg (directed by Gonzalo Galguera) and Landestheater Detmold (led by Richard Lowe). He is currently a resident member of the Landestheater Detmold Company.
