Paolo Giglio
Born in Sicily, he was trained in classical and contemporary dance at La Scala di Milano and at the Teatro Carcano. He studied at the Rudra Béjart school in Lausanne and began his professional career as an apprentice at the company Béjart Ballet Lausanne in 2010. Later he was in the national company of Tirol, Tiroler Landestheater, under the direction of Enric Gasa Valga. There he danced a repertoire of renowned choreographers such as Marco Goecke, Natalia Horecna, Lukáš Timulak, Chang Chin-Ho, Peter Wyss, Marie Stockhausen and Angel Rodríguez. He also has experience as a dancer at the Lausanne Opera for the production of "My Fair Lady", "Dante" and "L'Orfeo". He has been a solo dancer in the production "Romeo looks for Julieta" by the Igokat Company in Lausanne and in the GAIA-Stubai production of Tourism Stubai Tirol in Innsbruck. Paolo has a long history as a dance teacher in several schools in Austria and Switzerland, as well as being a coach for the world champions of "Acrobatic Gymnastics of Geneva". In 2016, he founded the dance school and company Open Mouvement Centre de Danse.
