Reo Morikawa began his dance training with Yoko Tagawa at the age of 7. In 2016, she left home to study at Elmhurst Ballet School in Birmingham, UK. During her ten years of training, Reo danced leading roles in ballets such as 'The Nutcracker', 'Don Quixote', 'Les Patineurs', 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and 'La Bayadere'.
Morikawa attended several training programs, including American Ballet Theater, Houston Ballet and Cannes Rosella Hightower. After graduating, Reo danced with Ballet de Catalunya. His repertoire includes Ali in 'El Corsario', the 'Blue Bird' from 'Sleeping Beauty' and 'Together' by Antonio Carmena and Marcus Salazar. Reo has received several awards, including the prestigious Barbara Geoghegan Award at the Ceccetti Classical Ballet Awards, and First Place at the Japan Grand Prix and Third Place at the Youth America Grand Prixin the New York Grand Final.
