Samuel Pereira

Samuel Pereira was born in Melbourne, Australia and started dancing at the age of 8. He began his professional training at The Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and then continued at The Australian Ballet School. After graduation in 2013 Samuel joined The Slovak National Ballet in Bratislava as a corps de ballet member. Samuel then joined the Tiroler Landestheather in Innsbruck, Austria where he danced numerous of main roles under the direction of Enrique Gasa Valga. Since 2018 Samuel has been a member of Ballet Opera de Lyon where he has danced pieces by Jiri Kylian, William Forsythe, Merce Cunningham, Trisha Brown and Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker.
