Tess Buck

Tess was born in Belgium where she began to study dance at the ballet school of her mother Maria Elvira Gili. She continued her dance studies at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona. She received a scholarship from the English National Ballet School in London where she studied and worked under the direction of many renowned dance teachers for four years. With the young company of the "English National Ballet", she participated in a tour of England during which she danced solo of the Lilac Fairy and the Fairy Carabosse in the ballet of Sleeping Beauty (choreography M. Hart). Between 2012 and 2015 she was a member of the Estonian National Ballet dancing both classical and contemporary repertoire. In August 2015 she joined the ballet company of the Gran Teatro Stanislaw Moniuszko in Poznan, Poland, followed by the Opera Nova w. Bydgoszczy. She is currently a freelance dancer and, as a member of the David Rodriguez Cultural Association since 2019, is in charge of sponsorship and public relations for the festival Girona en Moviment.
